Over 100 Gippsland based food and wine exhibitors will be showcasing their unique produce at the 2010 ‘Jindi Cheese Harvest of Gippsland’ to be held at Lardner Park, Warragul on Sunday 7th March, 2009. The event is a signature event in the ‘Gippsland Inspired’ food and wine festival. Discover, taste and purchase the best in food and wine from all corners of Gippsland.
‘Ross Wilson and The Urban Legends’ are performing live on stage, supported by ‘The Strzelecki Stringbusters’.
Cooking demonstrations are featured throughout the day in the new Lardner Park Exhibition Centre. See top chefs from across Gippsland battle it out in the final of the 6th Annual Gippsland ‘Signature Dish Chef’ competition. Trevor Perkins, catering manager of Maryvale Private Hospital, proudly took out the 2009 title.
Gippsland Artists will feature at the 2010 Harvest festival and will be showcasing and demonstrating their paintings, sculptures, jewellery and glass artworks.
Children are catered for with an exciting entertainment program where they can create their own artwork masterpieces and have a bounce on a selection of jumping castles available.
The Jindi Cheese Harvest of Gippsland is a great day out for the family.
